The first major step on the journey to a fitter, healthier and happier lifestyle is to actually take the first step.
The second is staying on track. Through my own fitness journey, I found two barriers:
My friends had a lifestyle consisting of bad habits
Lack of knowledge; I just didn’t know where to start
The media were constantly advertising all sorts of potions, solutions and magic pills to help overcome a bad lifestyle but actually, there was only one solution, changing my lifestyle.
They say you become like the people you spend most of your time with, I needed to mix with new circles–people that were like-minded–and gain knowledge on how to attain a healthier lifestyle through change.
It worked for me but I wanted to do more and create something that would work for everyone who needed it–not a forum but something that connects like-minded people, something that allowed people to share their emotion at the highest level, LIVE on the internet and for others to reply through two-way communication. The goal was not to capitalise on vulnerable people (like so many capitalists in the fitness industry) but to help them; I firmly believe in karma and by helping as many people as possible, it will come back to us.
